Angra Remarkable Features
Angra dos Reis (The Kings Harbor) has 365 islands and two thousand beaches filled with natural beauty, legends and excitement.

Golf in the Green Coast
Novo Frade golf course was designed by Dave Thomas and Peter Allis and opened in 1982.
Clear water rivers cross the interesting course design and the landscape is dominated by the mountain ranges on one side in contrast with the beautiful Frade Beach on the other.
The typical Rainforest vegetation is formed by an immense variety of native trees, palm trees and ground cover plants in different shades of green that mingle with flowers of bright colors.
The fauna that visits the course is made up of capybaras, deer, cutias and an immense variety of birds.
The ruins of an old senzala, by hole 8, constitutes a historical testimony to this beautiful golf course situated within the comprehensive Novo Frade Hotel which has numerous attractions such as horse riding, ecological walks, a complete nautical center, beauty and relaxation spa and options of eco-tourism activities such as: rafting, diving, etc.
Accommodation - Novo Frade Hotel has 160 rooms, suites and chalets with a beautiful view of the sea in Angra or of the hotel gardens.
The hotel offers driving range, putting green, pitching green, golf carts, accommodation, equipments for hire and snack bar. It has 18 holes, par 72 and 7260 yards. It is open 7h00 till 19h00 mondays through sundays.
The average temperature is 27oC and the golf course is on the sea level.
