Breakfast will be served at the hotel restaurant.
You will be picked up at your hotel and begin your half day tour following to the Farol da Barra (the lighthouse), passing by the Santa Maria Fortress and Barra Harbour. From there you go to the upper city through the Corredor da Vitória, Campo Grande and Piedade. Awaiting us in the upper city is the highlight of the tour, the Pelourinho, filled with a rich collection of 17th and 18th century, colonial architecture, which UNESCO consideres the most important that exists in the world today. Duration: approximately 3 hours Departures: Mondays through Sundays at 9h00.
Lunch and afternoon are by your own. If you would like you, our guide will be glad to give you some suggestions.
Dinner will be on Restaurant Maria Mata Moura. One of the best restaurants of the city, it is charming and cozy. It functions in a house of century XVII. Old bricks to the sight and objects give a special touch to the decoration. They are two environments: an intern, more sophisticated, and a terrace, informal place. A source of water and low music creates a pleasant atmosphere. The gastronomy is contemporary. The Chef created dishes with exclusive combinations, that mix flavors, textures and colours. Tropical fruits are used to recriate consecrated receipts.
