Cosmopolitan city, Brazil’s capital for almost 200 years, Rio de Janeiro is one of the most main culture centers on the country, with a lot of cinemas, theaters, museums, rooms of concert, show houses, art galleries and libraries. Big gastronomical zone, the restaurants on the city offer a lot of options, from international cookery to typical dishes from all Brazilian regions. Very few cities in the world are able to concentrate, in a very cool way, all the little icons that makes life a party: beach, sun, samba, frozen beer, tasteful food, football, beautiful people, streets with light curves that lead to little tropical forests.

Arrival in Rio de Janeiro, welcome and transfer from the International Airport, Galeão, to the Pestana Rio Atlântica Hotel.
Check-in and accommodation at the hotel.

Breakfast will be served at the hotel restaurant.
Half day tour to the Sugar Loaf:
Sugar Loaf, in the Urca district, on the way back towards Copacabana. The cable car trip is in two stages: The first goes to Urca Hill, 220 metres high, and then a short walk to the other side leads you to the second station for the next part of the ride, up to the top of Sugar Loaf itself. The top of Sugar Loaf, 396 metres high, has been landscaped and includes several pathways and a bar. It can be visited in less than two hours.
You will be picked up at your hotel in Rio and driven back at the end of the tour.
Duration: approximately 4h00.
Departures: daily at 14h00.
Lunch and afternoon are by your own. If you would like you, our guide will be glad to give you some suggestions.
Dinner at Antiquarius restaurant. This much-loved establishment is as famous for its flawless -- and award-winning -- rendering of Portuguese classics and some Brazilian pearls. Wander through the antiques shop at the restaurant before settling in at a table. A special dish is the cozido, a stew with a multitude of ingredients, including bananas.
Overnight at the hotel.
