Half day tour to the Sugar Loaf:
Sugar Loaf, in the Urca district, on the way back towards Copacabana. The cable car trip is in two stages: The first goes to Urca Hill, 220 metres high, and then a short walk to the other side leads you to the second station for the next part of the ride, up to the top of Sugar Loaf itself. The top of Sugar Loaf, 396 metres high, has been landscaped and includes several pathways and a bar. It can be visited in less than two hours.
You will be picked up at your hotel in Rio and driven back at the end of the tour.
Duration: approximately 4h00.
Departures: daily at 14h00.
Lunch and afternoon are by your own. If you would like you, our guide will be glad to give you some suggestions.
Dinner at restaurant Zazá Bistrô Tropical. The three floors of cosy dining rooms have a distinctly eastern flavour, with Moroccan carpets, exotic artefacts and low-level tables. Yet the cuisine is a mixture of Asian and Brazilian dishes. Main meals include tuna steak with passion-fruit sauce, fried, crunchy kole and jasmine rice.
