Rafting is the descending of rapids in inflatable small boats, where a group of people makes a true rally in agitated waters of the rivers. A sport that comes being practised more and more in Brazil, and that is increasing people's interest for the adventure tourism.
The descending is carried 10 km through the Tapirs' River, between the cities of Nova Roma do Sul and Nova Pádua, also involving the cities of Farroupilha and Bento Gonçalves. All the instructors are experienced and the activity is done with high standard security. For the rafting practice is not necessary to know how to swim. It is mandatory that the participants use life-guard vests, as well as proper helmets. During the descending, the small boats are accompanied by a vehicle, that follows the edges of the river and radio communication can be made.
Duration: approximately 3/4 hours.
Departures: Daily at 7h30 and 12h30.
