The city of Bento Gonçalves was founded with strong tradition in grape culture and the production of wine. It is situated among valleys covered of vines and it is the second largest wine production area of Brazil, Being also the main producer of fine wines, for which it received the title of "The Capital of the Wine". Italian restaurants serve up banquets comprised of typical Italian dishes while folkloric music and dance groups wrap up the fun, all in the name of joy. Another unforgettable visit is the guided tour of the Aurora Vineyard, located at the center of the city of Bento Gonçalves. The tour begins at the main wine cellar located on the ground floor where gigantic oak barrels "sleep" and millions of gallons of wine age. During the tour enologists explain the process of wine production. At the end of the tour visitors are invited for exclusive and lengthy session in the Cave di Bacco.
