Horseback riding - Accompanied by a guide, horseback riding is done inside of Camarinhas Farm when you are able to see the splendid scenery around the Parador. You will pass by Araucarias green fields, rivers, dams and mountains with amazing views.
Trekking – daily guided trekking over the canyons of Aparados da Serra National Park and Serra Geral National Park. Itaimbezinho and Fortaleza are the most bought and offer trails of levels 1 to 3 (easy to medium). The Venâncios waterfall is also a good option. For those who are looking for longer and harder trails, the Malacara and Churriado trails and also Boi River trail, done inside the Itaimbezinho, are excellent options. Inside of Parador Farm, you will find different level and distance trails, which fit well for those who do not want to go farm and seach easier trails.
Fishing – At the Parador you will find one of the best options for sport fishing of the region. The Camarinhas River crosses the farm and is inhabited by wild trouts. It is the ideal place for the practice of fly-fishing. For the fishers that only want to spend the whole day fishing and enjoying the imcomparable view of the area, having a delicious regional lunch and without being a guest of the hotel, it offers the ‘Day Fly Fish’. Bike – The Parador has bykes for rental and offers some demarqued trails around the farm. The bykes are made of alumnium with 24 marches and front suspension. Another option is to go byking until the canyons. For those who want to go further, the Parador developed a special byking package with various days. At the Parador Casa da Montanha Restaurant, you will taste the typical local gastronomy in an informal, rustic and very welcoming atmosphere. "Carreteiro de charque" (seasoned rice with jerked beef), "feijão mexido" (black beans pure), "paleta de cordeiro mamão assado" (oven roasted baby lamb) and "doce de abóbora" (homemade glazed pumpkin dessert) are some of the dishes that are carefully prepared for you, apart of our tasty breakfast served with typical products from the region. On Saturdays and Sundays, the restaurant is also open to the public, serving a delicious buffet of typical local gastronomy.
