Day -
Manaus / Amazon Rainforest
Transfer from your hotel at 8h30.
80km by road to the small Village of Rio Preto da Eva where a motorized canoe will be waiting to take you to Malocas Jungle Lodge.
Arrival and acommodation.
Lunch.
Canoe tour throuht the Igarapés to visit the caboclos who still live in similar conditions to their indian ancestors.
On the way back, you will fish for piranhas.
Dinner.
Alligators spotting.
Overnight at the lodge.

Day -
Amazon Rainforest / Manaus
Paddle through the Igapós in small canoes.
Breakfast.
Jungle trek with guides explanations about the various uses of the plants.
On the way back, visit to one of the many waterfalls.
Lunch.
Optional canoe trip.
Return to Vila do Rio Preto da Eva in motorized canoes, then the 80 kms by road back to Manaus.
Arrival around 19h00.

|
Included in the package:
* Permanent assistance of an expert bilingual guide;
* 1 overnight at the lodge;
* Meals: 1 breakfast, 2lunches and 1 dinner; and

Not included in the package:
*Airport taxes and air tickets to and from Manaus;
*Medical expenses and hospitalization;
*Any type of insurance;
*Beverages;
*Personal expenses or extras; and
*Tips.
What to bring:
T-shirts, long sleeved shirt, sneakers or hiking boots, jeans or track suit, hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, binoculars, flashlight, camera and film. Sweatshirt or sweater recommended from June to September.
Important remark:
1.The below mentioned rates are per person and valid until November'2008.
2. This package is not valid during Christmas, New Years, Carnival and Holidays.
3. The activities described may be altered due to weather conditions, season or group make-up with the intent of maximizing your experience of the eco-system.
4. If you have extra luggage left in Manaus, please keep your guide informed when of your transfer to the lodge. |
