One of the great charming of Marajó's Island, Salvaterra also is full of mysteries. Who goes there can prove, as our poet Carlos Drummond de Andrade, who once wrote on a newspaper: "...Salvaterra is a secret, a closed gift, jewelry box. It's needed to respect Salvaterra; it's needed to love Salvaterra. Ah! You can't imagine."
Located in Salvaterra, one of the most agreeable cities in Marajó, approximately 3 hours boat ride or 25 minutes flight from Belém or 10 minutes boat ride from Soure, you will find Pousada dos Guarás. It is situated in a privileged location: an ecological reserved area with freshwater beaches bathed by Marajó bay, the south part of the Amazon estuary. A natural lake is close to the Pousada and surrounded by a tropical garden. The beach is just 200mts from the resort.
If you are the kind of person who wants to rest and relax, you may choose this package. You do not need to leave the lodge as there is a wide leisure camp, where you will be able to enjoy the native beach, the swimming pool, playground, sports court, soccer field, ecological trail and a folkloric dances show.

Day -
Belém / Salvaterra
Early morning, around 6h00, transfer to the pier.
Cruise on the regular line ship to the city of Camará (approximately 3 hours) and then to Salvaterra.
Transfer to Pousada dos Guarás.
Check-in and accommodation in bungalows.
Lunch at the restaurant.
River tour by small canoes or motorized canoes (according to the number of people).
Visit Joanes, historical place where Marajó Island was founded.
Return to Salvaterra city.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day -
Salvaterra/ Soure /Salvaterra
Breakfast at the hotel restaurant.
Visit to the city of Soure. A full day activity including visit to tannery, water buffalo and Marajoara farm (for riding), Araruna beach - a wonderful place for swimmin and sunbathing. Lunch is included.
Return to the Pousada.
Dinner at the restaurant.
After dinner, a folkloric dance show will be performed by the local people at the hotel restaurant.
Overnight at the lodge.

Salvaterra / Belém
Breakfast at the restaurant.
Leisure morning.
Transfer to Camarpa pier to board the regular line boat to Belém.
Arrival in Belém and transfer to your hotel.
